Η Εταιρεία ΗΛΙΑΚΗΣ Α.Ε. λειτούργησε για πρώτη φορά το 1974 με την επωνυμία Ηλιάκης Γεώργιος και σκοπό να εξυπηρετήσει τις ανάγκες της οικογένειας Ηλιάκη. Ο ιδρυτής της Ηλιάκης Γεώργιος ίδρυσε ένα μικρό τυροκομείο στο Κάτω Μαλλάκι Ρεθύμνου για την τυροκόμηση του γάλακτος που παραγόταν απο τα ζώα του. Σαν τυροκόμος πια και ιδρυτής της επιχείρησης είχε όραμα να δημιουργήσει μιά μεγάλη κτηνοτροφική μονάδα κι ένα σύγχρονο τυροκομείο που θα παράγει προϊόντα παρασκευαζόμενα με τον παλιό, πατροπαράδοτο τρόπο χωρίς προσθήκες διαφόρων υποκατάστατων αλλά μόνο με γάλα που θα παράγεται από την οικογένεια του και θα αγοράζεται από κτηνοτρόφους της περιοχής του.Ο Ηλιάκης Γέωργιος έχοντας πια τέσσερα παιδιά στέλνει το μεγαλύτερο γιό του Κωσταντίνο στην τυροκομική σχολή Ιωαννίνων, απ' όπου και αποφοιτά. Το 1991 αποφασίζει να εκσυγχρονίσει το μικρό τυροκομείο του και το 1993 καταφέρνει να μετεγκατασταθεί στίς καινούργιες του εγκαταστάσεις με την επωνυμία Ηλιάκης Γεώργιος & Σία Ο.Ε. Το 1996 εντάσσεται στό νόμο 866/96 και λαμβάνει Κοινοτική χρηματοδότηση. Τελειοποιεί την μονάδα του σε ένα χώρο έκτασης 999 τ.μ. (χώρος παραλαβής γάλακτος, συντήρησης, τυροκόμησης, πίεσης, αλατίσματος, ωρίμανσης,ψύξης και συσκευασίας).Το 1997 η επιχείρηση μετατρέπεται σε ΗΛΙΑΚΗ Α.Ε. με τυροκόμο πια το γιό του Κων/νο, ο οποίος είναι πλέον και συνεχιστής του. Όταν το 2002 επιστρέφει πια και ο δεύτερος γιός του Ιωσήφ έχοντας τελειώσει τα Τ.Ε.Ι Άρτας ως ζωοτέχνης ξεκινάει τον εκσυγχρονισμό της δεύτερης μονάδος της κτηνοτροφικής παραλαμβάνοντας από τον πατέρα του 300 πρόβατα. Ενταγμένος πια σε σχέδιο βελτίωσης δημιουργεί μία υπερσύχρονη μονάδα εκτροφής ζώων και παραγωγής γάλακτος η οποία τελειοποιείται το 2007 με δυνατότητα εκτροφής 700 ζώων.Συγχρόνως όμως γίνεται και διακινητής - πωλητής των προϊόντων στις αγορές τις Κρήτης. Iliakis S.A operated for the first time in 1974 under the firm name 'Iliakis Georgios' and its original objective was to cater for the needs of the Iliakis family. Its founder, Iliakis Georgios , established a small, artisanal cheese and dairy in the vilage of Kato Mallaki, Rethymno- Crete, so that he could turn into cheese the milk produced by his own animals. As a cheese-maker and founder of the business he had the vision of creating a large animal breeding facility and a modern dairy farm where he could produce dairy products in the good old traditional way, without adding any substitutes whatsoever , using exclusively the milk produced by his own family and that purchased by local animal breeders in his area. Iliakis Georgios had by that time raised four children. He sent his eldest son, Costantinos, to the dairy school of Ioannina from which he graduated.In 1991 he decided to modernise his small cheese and dairy and in 1993 he managed to move to his new facilities under the firm name "Iliakis Georgios & Co Ltd". In 1996 he received an EC subsidy under law 866/96 and perfected his facilities,now accomodated in an area of 999 square metres (facilities for milk reception, preservation , cheese-making, pressure, salting, ripening, refrigeration and packaging). In 1997 the company name changed to Iliakis S.A, with his son Constantinos at the helm as a cheese-maker and his successor. When in the year 2002 his second son, Joseph, returned home after graduating from the Arta Technical Educational Institute, where he studied animal husbandry, he started the modernization of the second animal breeding facility after been given 300 sheep by his father.Joseph employed an improvement plan and created a state-of-the-art animal- breeding and dairy production facility, which was completed in 2007 and could by then accomodate 700 animals for breeding. At the same time, however, he started distributing and selling his products in markets all over Crete. Our company has a food safety management system certified by EN ISO 22000.

Die Gesellschaft ILIAKIS AG nahm ihren Betrieb im Jahre 1974 unter dem Firmennamen Iliakis Georgios auf, mit dem Ziel den Eigenbedarf der Familie Iliakis zu decken. Ihr Grunder, Georgios Iliakis, baute eine kleine Kaserei in Kato Malaki - Rethymno auf, fur die Kaseherstellung aus der von seinen Tieren erzeugten Milch. Als Kaser und Grunder des Unternehmens war es sein Traum, eine gro?e Tierzuchteinrichtung und eine moderne Kaserei zu schaffen, in der die Produkte auf die alte, herkommliche Weise erzeugt werden, ohne das Hinzufugen verschiedener Zusatzstoffe, sondern nur aus der Milch, die von seiner Familie erzeugt und von den Tierzuchtern der Region gekauft werden wurde. Georgios Iliakis, Vater von vier Kindern, schickt seinen altesten Sohn, Konstantinos auf die Fachhochschule fur Kaseherstellung in Ioannina, welche dieser auch abschlie?t. Im Jahre 1991 beschlie?t er, seine kleine Kaserei zu modernisieren und im Jahre 1993 findet der Umzug in die neuen Anlagen unter dem Firmennamen Iliakis Georgios & Co.OHG statt. 1996 erhalt er, im Rahmen des Gesetzes 866/96, EU-Hilfsgelder, mit denen er seine Anlagen, auf einem Gelande von 999 qm optimal ausbaut (Melkanlagen, Anlagen fur die Aufbewahrung, fur die Kaseherstellung, das Pressen und Salzen, sowie fur die Reifung, Kuhlung und Verpacken). Im Jahre 1997 andert das Unternehmen seine Rechtsform zur Aktiengesellschaft ILIAKSI AG wonach sein Sohn Konstantinos als sein Nachfolger die Leitung als Kaser ubernimmt. Im Jahre 2002, als auch sein zweiter Sohn, Iosif mit einem Abschluss der Fachhochschule fur Tierzucht in Arta zuruckkehrt, beginnt dieser mit der Modernisierung der zweiten Tierzuchteinrichtung, fur die er von seinem Vater 300 Schafe erhalt. Im Rahmen eines Verbesserungsplanes baut er eine Einrichtung fur Tierzuchtung und Milchproduktion auf, die im Jahre 2007 optimiert wird und eine Kapazitat von 700 Tieren aufweist. Gleichzeitig ubernimmt er den Vertrieb und Verkauf der Produkte auf dem Markt von Kreta. Unsere Gesellschaft ist fur das Managementsystem fur Lebensmittelsicherheit nach EN ISO 22000 zertifiziert.
